Misr Petroleum Company to Sell 10 M Tons in 2018/2019

Misr Petroleum Company is planning to reach target sales of 10 million tons during fiscal year (FY) 2018/2019 and achieve around EGP 49.8 billion sales revenue out of services and products sales for the first time in the company’s history, Misr Petroleum’s Head, Hussein Fathy, stated, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

“The company further plans to buy 15 jet fuel filling units and ships fuel filling units in the new FY,” he added.

The company plans to complete Sphinx Airport and the New Administrative Capital Airport, additionally providing fire pumps for warehouses in Luxor and Suhag, Fathy explained. Misr Petroleum has renovated its entire fleet and linked a GPS facility to it, he added.

Fathy’s comments came during the general assembly chaired by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, to review the company’s budget plan.

Misr Petroleum has succeeded in the initial operation of its newest petroleum products storage, handling, and shipping unit in Badr Area during the first half of FY 2017/2018.
