Misr Petroleum Company’s Chairman, Mohamed Maged, announced that the company achieved total sales of 8.65 million tons in fiscal year (FY) 2023/24, crediting this success to the efforts of its employees and the optimal utilization of its resources. He also noted that the company has initiated a project to modernize and enhance the efficiency of all its warehouses.
This came during the general assembly meeting attended by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi and Minister of Local Development, Manal Awad to approve the company’s results for FY 2023/24.
The company is also working on increasing the number of warehouses, already completing the development of 61 service and car filling stations and adding 11 new service and car filling stations.
The service of supplying cars with compressed natural gas (CNG) has been added to 194 filling stations for Misr Petroleum, and 64 stations are being completed in cooperation with Gastec.
Maged pointed out that the company has 20 train fueling stations, 14 aircraft fueling stations, and three ship fueling stations, in addition to 1,560 car fueling and service stations.
Badawi emphasized that the oil and gas sector is committed to modernizing all aspects of its operations and enhancing its tools to attract investments, maximize returns, and optimize their economic and service-based benefits.
He also praised the vital role of Misr Petroleum Company in serving the Egyptian market and its continuous efforts to develop services at fueling stations, whether for cars, planes, ships, or trains. Badawi highlighted the company’s introduction of CNG services and the wide range of value-added services provided to car owners at fueling and service stations.
