The Middle East Oil Refinery (MIDOR) is offering the sale of 50,000 tons of jet fuel to be shipped during the second half of November 2017, Amwal Al Ghad reports.
The Egyptian refinery will ship 25,000 tons of jet fuel between November 17th and 19th and 25,000 tons between November 28th and 30th. The two cargoes will be loaded from the port at Alexandria.
MIDOR announced that the last date for submitting bids for the fuel is October 18th.
The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources is conducting expansion work at the MIDOR facilities to increase their refining capacity by 60,000 barrel per day (b/d). The expansion will boost MIDOR’s production to around 160,000 b/d, the ministry’s First Undersecretary, Mohamed Taher, told Amwal Al Ghad.
