As part of the National Oil Company of Iran’s project for Mansouri Fields, wells no. 123 and 124 have successfully been commissioned, which will increase the field’s crude oil production.
OIEC CEO Mohammad Javad Shams said nearly 4,000 barrels of oil per day have been added to the field’s production capacity through the round-the-clock efforts of OIEC’s staff.
Iranian engineers have not been hindered by the difficult conditions of sanctions and the existence of serious financial and liquidity challenges, he said, adding those two wells came online under the guidance of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) and local experts.
Following the completion of the monitoring stage and stabilization of production parameters, the wells will be delivered to the employer.
