Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has chaired the meeting of the Supreme Council of Energy, in the presence of Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources; and Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, along with other concerned ministers.
At the beginning of the meeting, Madbouly highlighted the interest that the state has in the energy sector, and the continuous endeavor to attract more investments to this vital industry, by providing many facilities and incentives to achieve its desired goals.
The Prime Minister stated it is important to accelerate the modernization of the energy strategy in general, especially when it comes to adopting green hydrogen. He emphasized that this should be made a top top priority.
The meeting reviewed the status of the projects being implemented in the energy sector, and the efforts made to provide means of electrical supply for various national and development projects being implemented in all sectors, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
