Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly expressed the government full support to the Chilean investments in Egypt, represented in ENAP Petroleum Company during his meeting with the Head of Chilean Parliament, Ivan Flores, and his delegation, according to a press release.
The meeting was attended as well by the Egyptian Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Alaa EL Din Fouad; Assistant Secretary of State for American Affairs, Mahi Abdul Latif; Parliament Member and Parliament Head of External Affairs Committee, Karim Darwish; and the Chilean Ambassador to Egypt.
During the meeting, Madbouly highlighted the historical relationship between the two countries, explicit his wish to further strengthen the mutual cooperation for the common interest of both countries, in addition to benefiting from the unutilized opportunities on both mutual and regional sides.
For his part, Flores expressed his sincere appreciation to the cooperative relationships with Egypt, confirming his eagerness to further strengthen them and seize all available opportunities for both countries on the economic, commercial, investment and cultural aspects.
Additionally, Flores showed his acknowledgment of the efforts exerted by the General Manager of ENAP Egypt , Roberto McLeod, as well as his team during the Reception held in honor of the Chilean Parliament delegation visit to Egypt in the Chilean Embassy in Egypt.
