Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has met with the Vice President of Specialty Products at ExxonMobil Loic Vivier for talks about the company’s projects and expansion plans in Egypt during the coming period.
This was in the presence of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla and Chairman and Managing Director of ExxonMobil Egypt Amr Abou Eita.
At the beginning of the meeting, Madbouly expressed his appreciation for the strong historical partnership with the company which has been operating in the Egyptian market for more than 100 years.
He pointed out that Egypt is looking forward to greater cooperation. Madbouly also praised the remarkable expansion of the company in the local market which demonstrates its investment commitment towards Egypt.
During the meeting, El Molla affirmed that ExxonMobil is one of the important partners to Egypt, pointing out that they are interested in developing this partnership during the coming period.
He noted the achievements of the company throughout the years, elaborating that the company’s operations in exploration and production are in progress. He added that he expects the first production from an ExxonMobil well within the next few months.
For his part, Vivier thanked the Prime Minister for such a meeting, confirming his company’s commitment to expand its operations in Egypt.
