Lukoil and Inpex Corporation have successfully finalized testing the fifth well at Eridu field’s Block 10 in southern Iraq, Pipeline Oil and Gas Magazine reported.

The well has a production capacity of around 1,500 cubic meters of oil per day from the Mishrif formation.

The well testing proved the effectiveness of the Eridu field’s geological model.

Lukoil plans to continue drilling and testing several wells and complete 3D seismic surveys at the field and 2D seismic surveys at the block’s southern and central parts.
