The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanalla, met with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giseppe Puccino, and his delegation to discuss ways to boost cooperation with Italian companies, a press release reported.

The two sides also discussed the ways of strengthening the contribution of Italian companies to implementing various maintenance programs, in addition to NOC’s targeted projects during 2021. Moreover, they discussed the return of the Italian energy companies to work and invest in Libya.

For his part, Puccino congratulated NOC’s Chairman of the Board of Directors and workers in the Libyan oil sector on the return of production and reaching high rates despite the scarcity of budgets.
