Iraq’s IDC Signs Partnership Contract with Chinese ZPEC

Iraq Drilling Company (IDC) has signed a partnership contract with the Chinese ZPEC company, a press release issued by the Iraqi Oil Ministry announced.

The partnership will support the implementation of drilling and various other activities for international operators of Iraqi oil fields.

Bassem Abdul Karim, IDC’s General Manager, said that the contract also involves human development as well as the exchange of technology and expertise.

It should be noted that IDC has signed several contracts with international oil companies (IOCs), such as Halliburton, Weatherford, and Schlumberger, in order to accelerate the implementation of the projects and make use of new working systems.
