Iraq Records Increase in Oil Exports

Iraq has recorded an increase in crude oil exports, reaching 109,545,589 million barrels which generated $9.6 billion of revenues, according to a statement from Iraq’s Oil Ministry.

In September, Iraq exported 103.1 million barrels of crude oil, generating $9.5 billion in revenue.

The statement also revealed that the majority of the crude oil exports, amounting to approximately 108 million barrels, came from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq. Additionally, approximately one million barrels were exported from Qayyarah, while approximately 464 thousand barrels were exported to Jordan.

The average price of one barrel of crude oil for the month was $87,577, lower than in September, which was an average of $92.05 per barrel.

Notably, the exports were carried out by 38 international companies of various nationalities, using ports such as Basra, Khor Al-Zubair, monobuoys, and the modern Kirkuk warehouse. Tanker trucks were also used to transport the oil from the Qayyarah field.
