Iraqi Oil Ministry Spokesman Assem Jihad stated that Total is investing in four development projects in Iraq worth $27 billion.

Furthermore, Total is investing in 600 million feet of gas in two phases and one solar Giga investment project, Jihad added to Iraqi News Agency (INA).

He explained that the first project includes the extension of the offshore pipeline, which transports seawater to oilfields in order to sustain production at oilfields that require large quantities of water.

The second project aims to develop Artawi field to increase its production capacity from 80,000 barrels per day (bbl/d) to more than 200,000 bbl/d, Jihad clarified.
