Iraq Connects 28 New Productive Wells, Inaugurates Water Processing Station at Magnon Field

The Iraqi Ministry of Oil announced that it has connected 28 new wells to the production line at Magnon field.

It added that these wells will be part of the Al-Hartha, Al- Zubair, Ibn Omar, and Al-Mishrif reservoirs.

“All the wells are connected to the production facilities to be entered in producing sweet oil which enhances the oil quality,” the ministry said.

Additionally, a station for water processing has been inaugurated at the field including a pumping station, a 28- kilometer pipeline, and a station for filtration and processing.
