Iran’s gas exports have increased in both revenue and volume during the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21–October 22), according to the latest figures released on Tuesday by the Iran Trade Promotion Organization (TPO).
The TPO’s latest figures show that Iran’s gas exports have experienced a $1.379 billion hike year on year, reaching a total revenue of $2.374 billion which shows a 139% increase.
Besides, Iran’s gas exports have also seen an increase in volume by 3.779 million metric tons, reaching a total volume of 7.55 million metric tons. This marks an 115 % increase compared to last year’s corresponding period.
Notably, the TPO has announced this year’s gas price at $336 per ton, which is an 11% increase from last year’s price of $304 per ton.
