Iran LPG Exports Drop in February

Iran’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exports decreased to between 358,500 tons and 402,500 tons in February 2018, Iran Daily reported.

This represents a substantial decline from the post-sanctions high of 520,000 recorded in January.

IranOilGas Network reported that Iranian LPG exports in February were sent to Taiwan, Africa, China, and possibly India. There were no shipments to Indonesia as Iran is still negotiating contract renewal terms.

Naftiran Intertrade Company (NICO), a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), loaded a 44,000-ton evenly-split shipment from Iranian Gas Commercial Company (IGCC) at Assalouyeh on February 17th, which has now reached the southwestern coast of Sri Lanka.

NICO was about to load an IGCC cargo containing around 11,000 tons of butane and 33,000 tons of propane, directed to Mailiao in Taiwan.
