Iran has announced that it had started the construction of the Mahtab Parsian Petrochemical Plant, which is implemented by Petrofarhang Petrochemical Holding Company, Shana reported.

The statement elaborated that the facility will produce GTX in Parsian Energy Consuming Industries Special Zone.

Moreover, the plant is anticipated to produce heavy polyethylene and polypropylene.

The project is under the implementation phase, through tender announcements, after getting the approvals form the Petrofarhang.
