Infinity Solar Linked Plants to Power Grid

Infinity Solar Company connected two power plants to the national electricity grid as part of development project of Bashayer El-Khair 1 at Gheit El-Enab area in Alexandria, reported Daily News Egypt.

Infinity Solar’s CEO, Medhat Shokry, stated that the company will sell produced electricity from the two units to the Alexandria Electricity Distribution Company for EGP 21,000 in monthly revenues. He added that the two solar plants in Bashayer El Khair work with total capacity of 120KW.

Shokry confirmed that Infinity Solar build a solar plant on the roof of the trade market building. This plant works with a 93.3KW capacity. The company further constructed a solar plant in the training and operation center building with a 25.5KW capacity. The two plant total expenses reached EGP 1m that were paid by Infinity Solar and several businessmen.

The profit from the solar plants helped in paying workers and covering the costs of trainings.

Shokry added that Infinity Solar also provided a 120 meter shade umbrella to the project to cover three cafeterias in the trade market. Moreover, the company is conducting calculations of the launch of the network and the installation of the meter in order to figure out the monthly return produced from the plant.
