India Initiates 8,363 Oil, Gas Projects 

The Indian government has kick-started in excess of 8,363 oil and gas projects since April whilst following all pandemic related standard operating procedures (SOP), according to a press release.

India’s oil minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, said in a statement, “India’s petroleum Industry has turned a crisis into opportunity and is striving to work on mission mode to generate employment and revive growth, the ministry said in a statement. “Oil and gas entities in their role as key actors are working on a war-footing and contributing to the green shoots of economic revival, already visible through the backward and forward linkages of this industry.”

Some of the oil and gas projects include: joint ventures (JVs)/subsidiaries, inter-alia, refinery projects, bio refineries, exploration and production (E&P) projects, marketing infrastructure projects, pipelines, and drilling/survey activities.
