The Iraqi Drilling Company (IDC) announced that it has drilled and reclaimed 86 oil wells during H1 of 2023
The company’s General Manger Khaled Hamza said that the technical and engineering capabilities were key enablers for the drilling of 34 oil wells and the reclaiming of another 52 during the current year.
He added that this achievement was done through ten projects that are underway in fields in the northern, middle and southern parts of Iraq in favor of the local as well as international oil companies operating in the country.
Hamza explained that the IDC has drilled MJ-152 well as part of its contract with Basra Oil Company to drill 43 oil wells in the Majnoon field to provide oil services in cooperation with Halliburton.
