Iraqi Drilling Company (IDC) announced that it has completed the drilling operation of an oil well at Al Gharraf field, Iraq’s Oil Ministry stated.

Bassem Abdel Karim, the Director General of IDC, said that this well is the 13th completed by the company within the contract conducted with Petronas company to drill 28 oil wells.

He elaborated that the drilling was done by using IDC 54 equipment at a capacity of 2,000 HP which is one of the company’s modern devices and has the ability to drill at a deep of 6,000 meters. It was also easy to mobilize from site to site.
