Huawei Digital Power has successfully signed five memoranda of understanding (MoUs), four on the sidelines of the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS 2023) and one following the event.
The first MoU was signed by Huawei Digital power and the Egyptian maintenance company (EMC). The MoU was signed by Joey Denj, Huawei Digital Power Egypt CEO, and EMC Chairman Ashraf Bahaa to collaborate on future projects aiming for a greener oil and gas field.
Additionally, Huawei Digital Power signed an MoU with Tanmia in the presence of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla and Huawei NAF CEO, Jim Liu and Denj. The target for this MoU is operating in achieving a green field in line with the Ministry of Petroleum’s vision for decarbonization and enhancing the power efficiency for green energy resources to achieve zero carbon emissions in line with COP27.
The third MoU was sealed by Huawei Digital Power CEO, Denj and the Egyptian Valves Company (EVACO)’s Chairman and CEO, Ashraf Emam, for cooperating in green field projects.
Another MoU was closed by Huawei Digital Power and Alexandria Petroleum Maintenance Company (Petromaint) to work together on achieving zero-carbon oil and gas fields. The MoU was signed by Denj and Petromaint’s Chairman, Khalid Ibrahim.
The fifth MoU was signed following EGYPS 2023 with Gascool. The MoU was signed by Denj and Gascool’s Chairman Amr Abdraboh.
