Halliburton Reports $501 Mn Adjusted Profit in Q3 2026

Halliburton reported adjusted net income of $501 mn in the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, up from $461 mn in the previous quarter, as stronger activity in the Middle East and Latin America helped offset declines in North America, the oilfield services company said on October 20.

The US-based oil service company’s adjusted net income reached $0.60 per diluted share, compared with $0.55 in the second quarter.

Net income attributable to the company fell to $417 mn from $534 mn over the same period.

Revenue remained flat at $5.7 bn, while adjusted operating income rose to $731 mn from $683 mn. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased to $1 bn from $948 mn.

Halliburton Chairman, President and CEO Jeff Miller said the company’s revenue exceeded expectations and that it had taken steps to improve margins.

Miller forecast mid-single-digit revenue growth in 2027, with operating margins reaching about 15%, an improvement of approximately 200 basis points. This outlook assumes a flat North American market and does not depend on a recovery in hydraulic fracturing activity in the region.

He also said efforts to restore production, rebuild inventories and strengthen energy security following major disruptions to global energy markets could drive multi-year demand growth for oilfield services.

In August, Halliburton’s board of directors declared a third-quarter dividend of $0.17 per share, payable on September 23 to shareholders of record as of September 2.
