The General Petroleum Company (GPC) increased its production to reach 60,000 barrels of oil per day (bbl/d), according to the General Trade Union for Petroleum Workers (GTUPW).
According to the report, this would not have been possible without the support of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla’s directives. Additionally, by accelerating production, GPC aims to ensure a more prosperous climate for the economy.
GPC announced on June 21 that it managed to add 1,500 barrels of crude oil to its daily production despite the current circumstances and production challenges.
