Gemsa Petroleum Company has signed a cooperation protocol with the Haya Karima Foundation to enhance the efficiency of a medical facility in Zafarana.
This came within the framework of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy launched by the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla to increase the sector’s contribution to social development.
The protocol will support services within the El Sokhna- Hurgada Road, which is one of area’s vital roads, proven to be an essential source of internal and external tourism services. As per the agreement, the needed medicines for the people there will also be provided.
This project comes as part of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ efforts to boost sustainable development and improve the quality of life. It is noted that the petroleum sector continues to develop communities around the projects of the Supreme Committee for Social Responsibility.
Throughout many years, it implemented various social responsibility projects in the Red Sea in the areas of health, education, training, and capacity building. It has been rebuilding and rehabilitating a large number of homes in the governorate’s villages.
