Gazprom Reduces Gas Exports to Italy by Around 15%

According to state-controlled oil firm Eni SpA, Gazprom PJSC has suspended gas shipments to Italy, citing a source from the Russian corporation, Bloomberg reported.

According to an Eni official, the reduction represents an estimated 15% of overall flows from Russia to Italy. Gazprom gave no explanation for its decision.

Due to technical challenges at its Baltic station, Gazprom announced on Tuesday that it is decreasing flows through Nord Stream, a crucial pipeline for Russian gas exports to Europe, by 40%, exacerbating supply concerns on the continent.
