Gastec Suspends Late Premium Payment Penalties

The Egyptian International Gas Technology (Gastec) suspended car conversion’s late premium payment penalties, according to a statement.

Adhering to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ directives to ease up on natural gas consumers during these unusual circumstances, Gastec has suspended late premium payment penalties on car conversions, the statement said.

Additionally, the company is providing easier payment methods, with the lowest cost,  for natural gas car conversion through various facilities including Fawry. Accordingly, the customer can go to any Fawry outlet and pay the due fees  through Gastec’s code number (580), and the customer’s car conversion bill number.

Gastec has been expanding its presence in Upper Egypt and has recently launched its second natural gas fueling station in Beni Suef. It should be noted that the total number of Gastec’s natural gas fuel stations has reached 94 stations in 22 governorates, which gives the company the highest geographic prevalence rate for natural gas fuel stations in Egypt.
