Officials from Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company (Ganope) conducted an inspection of their Eastern Desert production sites. This visit aligns with the ministry’s initiatives to enhance oil and gas discoveries, increase production, and emphasize human resources, occupational safety, and environmental preservation.
The Ganope team included Nabil Salah, VP of Production and Operations; Ibrahim Abdou, VP of Agreements and Exploration; Moataz Khalil, VP of Planning and Projects; Khaled Ahmed Abdel Aziz, VP of Administrative Affairs; and Mohamed Saeed Soliman, Assistant President for Safety.
This tour is part of Ganope’s ongoing monitoring program for the Eastern Desert fields and falls within their technical and administrative supervision responsibilities.
The visit included the fields of Esh El Mallaha Petroleum Company (Eshpetco) and PetroGulf, in addition to other affiliated companies.
They toured the production and oil processing facilities in Eshpetco’s fields in addition to the flare gas utilization station to generate the electricity needed to operate the facilities for extracting and producing crude oil.
They also reviewed plans to drill in new areas and bring discovered wells into production at PetroGulf, PetroNefertiti, and Magawish Petroleum Company (Magapetco), aiming to boost the national economy.
The tour also included the inspection of emergency plans, testing of fire safety systems at Magapetco, and safety protocols at PetroGulf to ensure worker safety and operational efficiency.
