Iran has exported 300,000 barrels of gas condensate from a new phase of the South Pars field, according to phase 13 project operator, Payam Motamed, Reuters reported citing ISNA.

On March 17, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani inaugurated new four development phases of the mega field, with investments of around $11 billion.

The first gas condensate shipment from phase 13 was delivered on March 11, a week before the formal inauguration, Motamed added.

South Pars is considered the world’s largest gas field.
