The Egyptian Refining Company (ERC) has supplied 100,000 tons of low-sulfur petroleum products from its operational trials, Qalaa Holdings Company announced, according to Amwal Al Ghad.
The operational trials of the catalytic reforming unit (CCR) and the vacuum distillation unit (VDU) in ERC have been a success and the company have begun delivering petroleum products such as diesel; naphtha, and high-octane gasoline that met global standards.
The operational trials of all the units in ERC is set to be completed by the end of Q2 2019.
ERC, a subsidiary of Qalaa Holdings Company, is set to start its commercial operations in Q3 2019, Egypt Oil & Gas previously reported.
