The Egyptian Refining Company (ERC) announced 22 scholarship recipients under its Mostakbaly Program, Amwal Al Ghad reports.
ERC is funding the scholarships for selected students studying science and technology at Ain Shams University, Zewail University, Nile University, and American University in Cairo (AUC).
The company believes in the importance of improving education and offering opportunities for young people to pursue an education either in Egypt or abroad, the Head of ERC, Ahmed Heikal, said.
ERC is a subsidiary of Qalaa Holding Company.
Qalaa Holding Company has adopted a development strategy to improve education in Egypt, Heikal noted. It offers scholarships, student and teacher training, and funds for the renovation of public schools.
