EPROM Receives Offer to Operate in Iraq Gas Field

The Egyptian Projects Operation and Maintenance Company (EPROM) received an offer in 2017 to operate Siba natural gas field in Iraq in partnership with the Egyptian Maintenance Company (EMC), said Amgad El Ahmady, EPROM Head, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

Additionally, EPROM received an offer in 2017 to operate and maintain the water processing units at the Al Zour oil field in Kuwait.

El Ahmady made the announcements during the general assembly chaired by Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Tarek El Molla to review the company’s 2017 performance.

The company also succeeded in increasing the efficiency of the different production units in the Middle East Oil Refinery (MIDOR) plants, and provided technical support to the new expansion projects in MIDOR.

The company further contributed to achieving the highest performance rates to increase production and maintain the assets and equipment in Egyptian Linear Alkyl Benzene Company (ELAB) and Alexandria Mineral Oils Company (AMOC).
