EOG Upstream Convention Holds Asset Integrity Workshop

After a strategic panel about the modernization of joint venture companies, the Egypt Oil & Gas (EOG) 2nd Upstream Operational Excellence Convention proceeded with its second-day agenda, on December 3, with a technical workshop on asset integrity.

The workshop included four presentations delivered by representatives of Enppi, Baker Huges GE (BHGE), Oil and Gas Skills (OGS), and Qarun. The presentations brought insights on structural integrity management (SIM) for offshore assets, asset performance management, production facilities integrity and corrosion management, and tubing casing integrity (TCI) surveys, respectively.

Following the presentations, there was an opportunity for attendees to participate in roundtable discussions about the subjects presented.

Speaking on the production facilities integrity roundtable, Ahmed Sadek, Quality Department Head at Oil & Gas Skills, praised the level of discussion from attendees.

“It is very good to have this participation to clarify points in the presentation. It provided a lot of opportunities to brainstorm about asset integrity,” he said.
