Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has confirmed that the vision of development and modernization launched by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) in 2016 is bearing fruit through the implementation of distinguished projects in all areas of the oil and gas industry, increasing the volume of business and capital of sector companies, and increasing the volume of reliable partnerships.
El Molla’s words came during the meeting to review the results of the work of the Engineering for the Petroleum & Process Industries (Enppi) for the year 2023.
The minister stated that the business results presented by Enppi for the year 2023, and the actual volume of business it has contracted for during the period from 2024 to 2028, amounting to about $5 billion, confirms its benefit from the expertise and specialized capabilities it possesses in achieving this.
El Molla explained that the Egyptian state and the distinguished relations it has with its brothers in the Arabian Gulf and the countries of the African continent have contributed to increasing the volume of Enppi’s business outside Egypt.
Meanwhile, Enppi’s Chairman Wael Lotfy explained that the efficiency and flexibility of the business model based on adapting to changes, development, continuous improvement, creativity and sustainability is the way that distinguishes Enppi and enables it to overcome the geopolitical and economic challenges witnessed in 2023.
During the year 2023, important work was accomplished through participation in the implementation of several giant national projects. Moreover, the company received the highest ranking in its history among the best international companies according to the Energy News Record (ENR) assessment of international companies according to engineering design and contracting works for the year 2023.
