Engineering for the Petroleum & Process Industries (Enppi) has signed a cooperation agreement with UK’s Wood Group, one of the biggest oil and gas deepwater engineering providers, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
The new deal will establish a new operational and engineering partnership between the two companies to share technologies, knowledge, and expertise required for engineering work in natural gas exploration and prodution (E&P) activities.
The agreement was signed by Enppi head Alaa Hegazy, and Colin McKinnon, Technical Director of Subsea and Export Systems at Wood Group.
Egyptian petroleum minister Tarek El Molla, UK Ambassador Sir Geoffrey Adams, and British Trade Envoy to Egypt, Jeffrey Donaldson, were in attendance.
