Eni, the Boston Consulting Group (BGC) and Google Cloud announced that they are building a new open digital platform to support sustainability in the industrial supply chain, according to Eni’s statement.

This platform will allow all the operators in the energy sector to share their experiences in sustainability, growth plans, and information in compliance with the existing regulations.

It will help develop collaborative and non-competitive culture to establish better understanding and best practices sharing around sustainability throughout the industrial chain.

Every participating company will be able to interact on the platform both as a supplier and as a customer, depending its role in the industrial chain, enabling the entire ecosystem and creating a space for real collaboration and growth.

This platform will be free and independent and has features including ability of information sharing, supply chain and ecosystem mapping, being opened and integrated, providing incentive mechanisms.
