Eni company announced that Eni gas e luce, its affiliated company, has signed an agreement with Grupo Pitma for acquiring Aldro Energia and the back-office company Instalaciones Martìnez Dìaz S.L.U, to enter the Iberian energy market, a press release reported.

Alberto Chiarini, CEO of Eni gas e luce, noted that this acquisition allows the company to expand in the European market which is essential for the company’s development strategy.

“The company aims to increase its portfolio, reaching 11 million customers in 2023 to offer not only gas and electricity but the entire range of services related to home and energy,” he added.

Aldro Energia is operating in sale of electricity, gas and energy services to residential customers and companies. Eni is offering energy efficient solutions and products for houses and apartment buildings.

Eni gas e luce is aiming at providing highly professional and sustainable solutions to contribute in the energy transition. The transaction will be done upon receiving the authorizations from the competent entities.
