Energean company declared that it is expected to produce first gas from the first well in NEA/NI in Egypt during the H2 2022, noting that it has completed 53.1% of this project by the end of April 2022.
The company said it has tied-back four subsea wells to Abu Qir platform which are developing 53 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe), 2P reserves and 2c resources (90% gas).
Energean added that it targets to grow production from its projects in Egypt to c.40,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) by 2024 as part of its medium-term targets.
