On the sidelines of the Egypt Mining Forum 2023, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA) and the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt.

The protocol aims at implementing the second phase of the capacity-building program in the mining sector, which will be held during the period from July 2023 to July 2024.

El Molla stated that continuing to train, qualify and refine the expertise of mining cadres is a major element in the vision of developing and maximizing the exploitation of Egypt’s mineral wealth. He also referred to the positive cooperation with the Mining Committee of the American Chamber in Egypt, which is witnessing continuous growth.

The protocol was signed by Muhammed Zaher, Leader and Cochair of the Mining and Mineral Resources Committee at AmCham, and Yasser Ramadan, EMRA’s Chairman.
