EMC Achieves EGP 8.8B in Revenues in 2023

The general assembly of the Egypt Maintenance Company (EMC) was held to approve the results of the company’s work for the year 2023 in the presence of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla.

During the general assembly, the company’s Chairman Khaled Ibrahim pointed to the success of EMC in achieving an increase in the volume of revenues and contracts inside and outside Egypt in 2023. This comes as it achieved revenues amounting to EGP 8.8 billion, a 26% increase over the year 2022, and it provided a volume of contracts amounting to EGP 11 billion, a 15% increase over the year 2022.

El Molla praised the distinguished results achieved in terms of the volume of business, its most important projects, and its strategy, which comes in line with the strategy of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and Egypt’s Vision 2030.

The minister stated that he is confident that EMC has a clear vision that enables it to increase the volume of its business, especially abroad, as the company has all the capabilities that qualify it to compete at the international level with the policies it follows about occupational safety and health, and sustainable development. Additionally, the company competes globally thanks to its unique expertise.

Ibrahim explained that EMC has been able to continue to fulfill its obligations to its customers in light of the regional and global challenges of wars and economic crises, which in turn led to fluctuations in exchange rates and instability in the prices of petroleum products. The company successfully overcame these challenges to maintain leadership in the field of providing integrated maintenance services.

This contributed to raising the level of EMC’s classification in the list of the largest international contractors’ record, the Engineering News-Record Top Lists (ENR), for the third year in a row. The company made 212th place on the list of the largest 250 international contractors for the year 2023. For the first time, it made fifth place internationally in the field of maintenance services with the same entity, and thus it is the only Egyptian company in that category.
