Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla highlighted the continuation of the ministry’s strategy in supporting petroleum entities and achieving optimal utilization of all its expertise.
This came during the General Assembly to approve the results of the work of the Egyptian Maintenance Company (EMC) for the year 2022.
El Molla stated that the successive launch of Egyptian maintenance, consulting, contracting, and petroleum services companies to work in petroleum projects abroad achieves added value for these companies.
EMC’s Chairman Ashraf Bahaa explained that the company has been able, over the course of 25 years, to fulfill its obligations towards its customers, overcoming many challenges and difficulties. He added that EMC remains to be the best choice for integrated maintenance services, which contributed to its presence among the top 250 contracting companies in the world.
Bahaa pointed out the company’s success in increasing the volume of contracts outside Egypt during the year 2022. It achieved revenues amounting to EGP 7.2 billion, an increase of 15% over 2021, and provided a volume of business in fiscal year 2022, amounting to about EGP 9.6 billion.
Moreover, Bahaa stated that EMC has an ambitious strategic plan to achieve greater future goals that support efforts to ensure sustainability. These efforts will also take into account the elements of its system including employees, customers, suppliers and shareholders.
