Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will officially open the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2024) in its seventh edition on Monday, February 19th.
The three-day event will take place from February 19th to the 21st under the slogan “Driving Energy Transition, Security and Decarbonisation”.
Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla explained that the event is being held under the patronage of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and that his annual opening of the conference is a source of pride and a positive message to global investors about the state’s support for investments in the Egyptian energy sector.
The conference this year will focus on its evolution from being an exclusively oil and gas conference into a comprehensive energy platform that discusses and reviews all challenges and solutions regarding achieving the energy transition and reducing carbon emissions from energy production, El Molla pointed out.
El Molla announced that the conference, in its new edition, is witnessing a large and active international presence from the global energy sector. The conference participants include a large number of ministers and those responsible for the energy sectors as representatives of their countries, secretaries of regional and international energy organizations, and CEOs of major international energy companies.
