Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has taken the constitutional oath to officially start his new presidential term on April 2nd, according to a statement from the Egyptian Presidency.
After the oath, El Sisi delivered a speech extending his gratitude and appreciation to the people of Egypt for “renewing their confidence and entrusting [him] with the honor of leading our great homeland for a new presidential term.”
