President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides. The two leaders first held a bilateral meeting, followed by an expanded one that included the delegations of the two countries, on the sidelines of the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES) 2025.

The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of production, liquefaction and transportation of natural gas, so as to serve the interests of the two countries and Europe.

The two presidents lauded the momentum relations have gained, stressing their keenness to continue coordination in various fields in order to achieve the aspirations of the two peoples.
