El Sewedy Electric for Trading & Distribution (T&D), which is a subsidiary from El Sewedy Electric, signed an agreement for constructing the industrial district substation of Port Said, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
The new turnkey contract is an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement with EGP 550 million of total value, the company said in a press release to the Egyptian Exchange Market (EGX).
The agreement has a ten-months period of implementation from the date of obtaining the land to the advance payment, which comes afterwards.
Elsewedy Electric T&D is an international organization specialized in the supply, installation and commissioning of overhead transmission lines, substations on a turnkey basis, and services for utilities and industries including rural electrification and street lighting projects throughout Africa and the Middle East.
