Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla stressed the importance for the Aqua Paris and El Wadi El Gadid for Containers companies to improve their efficiency and the necessity of cutting production costs to face the market competitiveness challenge.
The minister also emphasized on the importance of increasing the integration between the two companies to benefit from their potentials and take the needed procedures for them to merge in the future, according to a press release.
This came during the general assembly meeting for the two companies to approve their operational results which was headed by El Molla; and attended by the Head of Aqua Paris Natural Water, Tarek Abdel Samad and the Head of New valley for Containers, Abdelrahman Abu Khodra in addition to senior officials in the petroleum sector.
Abdel Samad, said that his company has achieved revenues estimated at EGP 74 million in 2019 compared to EGP 52 million in 2018, by producing more than 2 million bottles of water.
For his part, Abu khodra said that his company supplied Aqua Paris with the needed containers for mineral water during 2019, noting that it has the latest devices which can control the quality and test the raw material as well as the end product to ensure its high standards.
