El Molla Pushes for Development of Petroleum Products’ Distribution System

The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, urged the Cooperation Petroleum Company’s (Copetrole), and Misr Petroleum Company to renew and develop their distribution systems to transport petroleum products from shipping warehouses, fuel transmission vehicles, and supply stations in line with latest technologies.

The minister’s remarks came during the general assemblies meetings of Copetrole and Misr Petroleum Company to approve their planning budgets for fiscal year (FY) 2021/22.

El Molla also stressed the importance of expansion in using modern technologies especially ATG technology for automatic monitoring at stations. In addition, he directed the two companies to expand the distribution of  sterilization and disinfection products to combat COVID-19 pandemic.

During the meetings, the companies presented features of their planned budgets for FY 2021/22, which were presented by Adel Ayad, the Chairman of Copetrole, and Mohamed Shabaan, the Chairman of Misr Petroleum Company.
