On behalf of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla participated in the celebration of Kuwait’s National Day and its 32nd anniversary of Liberation Day.
This joyous occasion was held by the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo, hosted by Ambassador Ghanem Saqr Al-Ghanim, Ambassador of Kuwait in Cairo, the ministry said in a statement.
“It gives me great pleasure to participate in the State of Kuwait’s blessed celebrations of the 62nd anniversary of the National Day and the 32nd anniversary of Liberation Day, wishing your country further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait,” El Molla stated.
There are more than 100 joint agreements between the two countries in various fields, including investments and development programs. This is in addition to the coordination and coherence of visions on various issues in the regional and international arenas, El Molla noted.
The two countries are working to strengthen economic ties in various fields of trade and investment, as Egypt witnessed, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, an unprecedented development in its modern history, which made Egypt’s climate attractive to Arab and foreign investors. This also contributed to increasing the presence of Kuwaiti investors in the Egyptian market, the minister highlighted.
