Tarek El Molla, the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, is participating in the ‘Egypt Can..by Sons of the Nile’ Conference, taking place in Luxor on February 25th and 26th.
The conference is organized by the Ministry of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs and sponsored by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The event is based on a mandate from the Prime Minister Sharif Ismail, who will open the conference with the participation of a number of ministers and a number of Egyptian scientists abroad, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
“The conference is confirming that Egypt is strongly ongoing in its strategy to continue communication with Egyptians abroad and their keenness to participate effectively in building their homeland,” El Molla said.
He added that “the Egyptian competencies have achieved global success levels in different fields,” highlighting the role of Egyptians abroad in economic development as an important source of foreign exchange through their inward transfers.
The conference is a good opportunity to introduce Egyptians abroad to the recent results achieved by the oil and gas sector and the possibility of benefiting from their expertise in the field of oil and gas.
