El Molla Met with Peruvians Minister of Energy and Mines in Canada

A press release to Egypt Oil&Gas stated that the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum, Tare El Molla, met with with Peruvians Minister of Energy and Mines in Canada, discussing possible cooperation between the two countries and sharing petroleum expertise to support the oil and gas industry in the two countries. During the meeting, the ministers reviewed the recent positive developments in the Egyptian oil and gas sector.

This came during El Molla visit to attend the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention.

El Molla praised the Peruvian model adapted in the mining field which contributes by 26% in Peru’s national income and helped in attracting more investments to the industry.

El Molla said that the Egyptian investment climate is attractive, particularly in the petroleum and mining sector as the country offers promising investment opportunities.

Meanwhile, the Peruvian minister pointed out that the private sector plays an important role in the Peruvian mining industry. He also informed that Egypt and Peru have many promising cooperation chances in the field.

Moreover, El Molla met with B2 Gold’s CEO and the Chairpersons of Forbes and Waterhouse. The meeting included reviewing the recent gold tender and inviting the CEOs to participate in it.
