Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has met with chairmen of petroleum companies and senior officials to discuss the petroleum sector’s state in light of current challenges and the impact of global changes on the workflow. 

In addition, El Molla highlighted promising opportunities which can improve the operations and its economics. Also, the parties reviewed the operational results of the companies and their performance, in addition to how to encourage employees to exert more efforts to increase production, reduce expenses and rationalize consumption. 

The minister stressed the importance of developing the working system and maximizing the petroleum resources by exploiting the available potential to achieve added value and support the national economy.
